As Bob continues to crisscross the country encouraging people to sign up for Oprah & Bob's Best Life Challenge 2008, he takes time to answer callers' questions on a variety of health and fitness topics. Bob shares some insight into healthy dieting with a woman recently diagnosed with high cholesterol. He also explains why an overall diet and exercise plan is better for targeting problem areas than specialized, gimmicky machinery.

Plus, whether you're dieting to lose a lot of weight or just a few pounds, Bob says you shouldn't obsess over the numbers on the scale. "Accept where you are today and realize that if you do all the things you are supposed to be doing—move more and eat less, for the most part—you are going to drop weight," he says. "The best way to monitor [your weight loss] is how your clothes fit."
