Think back to 1987, a time when there was a lot more fear and confusion surrounding AIDS than there is today. When Mike Sisco, an early victim of the disease, went public with his illness, he felt like an outcast in his own hometown. The townspeople didn't want him living in their community. They didn't want him shopping in their stores. And they didn't want him swimming in their pool.
