Barbra Streisand says she's shy about singing in front of an audience, but she decided to perform during her 2003 appearance on the show. It wasn't easy to get the living legend to overcome her performance anxiety, but producer Lisa helped make Barbra's first television performance in decades happen.
"We knew it would be history in the making if we could make it happen. She didn't want to originally. We tried to make her feel comfortable…we told her we have the best lighting, the best sound...she said yes, and she came on and sang!"
Needless to say, Barbra's performance wowed the crowd.
