Q: I've read that vinegar pills can be good for your health. Is that true?

A: Vinegar may be good flavoring food, topping salads, coloring eggs and playing some mean ol' practical jokes, but we know of no documented health benefits of vinegar pills separate from the vinegar itself. Its purported prowess in weight loss (in such pH diets that talk about the difference between acid and alkaline foods) has not been met with large success.
