Q: I understand I should eat 10 tablespoons a week of tomato sauce, but does something like V8 juice count? I'm not wild about tomato sauce, but if juice works, I can do that.

A: V8s don't just do wonders for sports cars. They will also give your bodily engine lots of cancer-protecting power. V8 juice counts the same as tomato sauce because it's pasteurized, but you do have to drink it with a little healthy fat for it to be absorbed. So drink it after having a few nuts (6 walnuts, 12 almonds, 20 peanuts, for example) or after having fish oil or avocado, peanut, walnut or almond spread (1/2 tablespoon does the trick).
